I love reading Tofu 666’s blog. The pictures are always incredible and their Raw Wednesday creations always offer inspiring challenges in gourmet uncooking. After finding a large cauliflower at the market this weekend I thought I would give one of their recipes a try.
The results were unlike anything I have ever tasted before. It is reminicent of other Morrocan dishes I have eaten but there is something unique about the tamarind and turmeric combination that I had not experienced in cooked dishes. It is really delicious. When I eat raw meals I tend to keep them very simple. So this provided a great excuse to experiment with flavour combinations and techniques like ‘flaking cauliflower’.
